Genshin Impact's patch 1.4 has introduced the Windblume festival, which features plenty of new quests. One of the new quests is "Windbrew: Mix the Drink," where you need to brew a beverage for Margaret. She will give the instructions, and you have to closely follow them and brew the perfect beverage for her. How to Start Windbrew "Mix The Drink" Quest in Genshin Impact
Margaret is the owner of Cat's Tail Tavern in Mondstadt. To kickstart the Windbrew quest, talk to Margaret, standing next to her Tavern. She will let you know that she is concerned about drunk people ruining the Windblume festival, which is about to start. Hence, she will ask you to craft a non-alcoholic drink for people at the festival.
She will let you know that the drink required will be brewed with milk and the ‘flavor of the wind,’ which is basically Dandelions and Windwheel Asters. Luckily, you only have to gather one of the plants, and you'll be given a choice to pick one. Depending upon your choice, the next step of the quest will vary.
Windbrew Quest: Where to Find Dandelions and Windwheel Asters in Genshin Impact
As mentioned before, you have to collect either Dandelions or Windwheel Asters. Dandelions can be found on the Starsnatch Cliff near the northeastern part of the Mondstadt region. Dandelions will be surrounded by Anemo Slimes, so keep that in mind when you head towards the location.
On the other hand, Windwheel Asters can be found on Windrise, which is on the east of Mondstadt. This time, the pesky Hilichurls will be guarding the Windwheel Asters, so take them out and collect the plants. Whichever ingredient you chose to gather, Margaret will take care of the other.
Windbrew Quest: How to Mix the Drink
Once you have all the ingredients, it's time to mix them up and brew the right drink. Margaret will give you the instructions, and you have to mix the ingredients in the right order. If you mess the order, the task will fail, and you'll have to restart. This being said, here are the steps to finish the drink:
- Place Sweet Flower in.
- Pour milk in.
- Place Windwheel Aster in.
- Let it sit.
- Place Dandelion Seeds in.
- Place ice cubes in.
Once you have finished the drink, you'll get a bottle of Special Beverage. Talk to Margaret, and she will ask you to get responses from some of the people in the festival by handing out samples. Your next step will be to interact with three NPCs being Nimrod, Aramis, and Nora. The game will guide you to the locations of these NPCs and once you have responses from them, talk to Margaret again. After talking to Margaret, the quest will finish, and you'll get a reward of 2 Hero's Wit, 20 Primogems, and 20,000 Mora.
