The new Black Ops game will be set in the 1990s during the Gulf War. This setting promises to introduce new dynamics and scenarios, delivering the intense and action-packed gameplay that the series is known for.

How Many Weapons are in COD Black Ops 6?

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is set to bring an exceptional arsenal of weaponry and equipment to the game, including 12 weapons all-new to the franchise, in addition to returning weapons.

The total number of base weapons available in Black Ops 6 has not been announced yet.

Will Modern Warfare 3 and MW2 Weapons carry forward to Black Ops 6?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 weapons and Modern Warfare 2 weapons will not carry forward to Black Ops 6, to make sure everybody experiences the Black Ops universe the way it’s meant to be played, learning the era-specific weapons and gear, learning the gameplay innovations like Omnimovement.

The one exception is the Black Ops 6 Vault Edition Woods Operator Pack preorder benefit. It is currently available in Modern Warfare 3 and will carry forward into Black Ops 6. 

Carry Forward content for players of Call of Duty: Warzone will continue, with Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, and Black Ops 6 content being integrated with the arrival of Season 1.
