Borderlands 3 Amara Build: Green Queen Amara [level 65, Mayhem 11] + SAVE FILE

This new Borderlands 3 Amara Build relies on using the new gear to make Amara great again. You will rely on Shock and Radiation elemental damage. You can find this Borderlands 3 Amara Save File at the bottom of the article.

Important! All the items are perfect rolls. If you do not want to download the file, you can only gather inspiration for the build and try to replicate something similar in the game. The build contains gear from all the DLCs to Borderlands 3.

Borderlands 3 Amara Build Explanation

In this build, you will be using brand new gear introduced in DLC6, including the brand new Amara Class Mod [you can check how it works in my in-depth guide for Death’s Blessing]. The main part of the build is also using a Re-Volter shield and “While under 50% health, deal 150% bonus radiation damage” anointment.

You will get a lot of shock and radiation damage in the process, hence the name Green Queen. You know - because shock is blue and radiation yellow? Combined gives you green? No? Sorry.

Anyway, this build allows you to output a lot of elemental damage, especially with Amara’s skills that enhance it even more. The only downside of the build is that you will be quite the glass cannon.

Using your action skill with the right anointment will activate the shock damage effect from the shield. I will also make an in-depth guide for this shield sometime in the future.

The other strong suit of this build is that you will be able to freeze enemies easily. I included Cryo weapons because you will get shock damage from the shield and radiation from the anointment. Cryo weapons usually have higher damage values.

With these builds, you can also one-shot smaller enemies with your Action Skill. It is a nice change to see a Phasecast build instead of melee all the time.

Anointment: On Action Skill Start, activate any effects that trigger on shield break or fill

Grenade: Any grenade [only anointment matters]

Anointment: On Action Skill End, gain 50% bonus Any Elemental Damage with Weapons for 10 seconds

Make sure you get some grenades that have different ASE elements. For example, Fastball with ASE Corrosive and Hunter-Seeker with ASE Fire, etc.
