The Black Ops 7 campaign is set in the year 2035, continuing the events of Black Ops 6. The world teeters on the edge of collapse, torn apart by brutal conflict and psychological warfare. David Mason leads an elite JSOC strike team on a covert operation in Avalon, a sprawling Mediterranean metropolis.

For the first time in franchise history, the Black Ops 7 campaign will be fully playable in co-op with up to four players. Go solo or team up with friends in this experience that redefines what a Black Ops campaign can be.

Players will explore a wide range of environments: from neon-soaked rooftops in Japan, to the sunlit Mediterranean coast, and even into the darkest recesses of the human mind. Central to the narrative is Avalon itself, an expansive, living city whose secrets reverberate across the entire story.

Black Ops 7 also introduces a new Endgame campaign experience. In the culmination of the story, Avalon opens up for players as they wield personalized abilities and face unexpected challenges, putting everything they’ve mastered throughout the story to the test.

The story features iconic Black Ops characters, including David Mason and Raul Menendez, while also introducing compelling new figures such as Emma Kagan, enriching the campaign’s intrigue and emotional depth.

How to play the Black Ops 7 Campaign Early Access

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will not offer campaign early access. It will not be possible to play the campaign mode before the release date of the full game.
