Call of Duty Balck Ops 7 launched with 16 6v6 multiplayer maps: 13 all-new maps and 3 returning Black Ops 2 classics, plus 2 new large-scale maps!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 offers a blend of nostalgic and fresh experiences, combining iconic classic Black Ops maps with brand-new multiplayer maps.
Black Ops 7 features 13 all-new core 6v6 maps at launch, along with 3 legendary returning maps from Black Ops 2, including the infamous Raid, now reimagined as a once-tranquil Tokyo setting in near-future Japan.

How many maps are there in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7?
Call of Duty Balck Ops 7 will launch with 18 multiplayer maps in total:
- 13 brand-new core multiplayer maps
- 3 core maps returning from Black Ops 2
- Plus 2 new large-scale maps
Players can experience a mix of both classic remastered maps and brand-new environments at launch, with more added post-launch through seasonal updates and DLC. Nuketown 2025 will arrive to Black Ops 7 shortly after launch on November 20!

Here is some additional info revealed about the multiplayer maps and modes of Call of Duty Black Ops 7:
- All maps are designed with the classic three-lane structure in mind, focusing on path clarity.
- There are no manual doors in BO7 multiplayer.
- BO7 maps are more colorful, such as Homestead, where you'll fight under the aurora borealis.
- Face Off and Gunfight modes will return in BO7.
- The game features various maps that can be played either 6v6 or 2v2.
- Yemen and Meltdown from Black Ops 2 have also been teased to return as remastered maps.
- Nuketown 2025 will be added shortly after launch on November 20.

COD Black Ops 7 New Multiplayer Modes:
In addition to the classic multiplayer modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, and Hardpoint, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 also features 2 brand-new multiplayer modes. Here are the details:
- Overload (6v6): Two teams of 6 players each fight to control a neutral Overload Device that must be delivered to one of two designated zones near the enemy team’s starting spawn. Reach the score limit and claim victory by delivering multiple Overload Devices!
- Skirmish (20v20): Two teams of 20 fight to complete objectives across a large map. Capture points of interest, destroy payloads, and transmit valuable data to score. Use your wingsuit to flank and reach objectives before your enemy. The first team to reach the score limit wins!
Other Classic Multiplayer Modes in Black Ops 7:
- Team Deathmatch: Eliminate enemy players to earn score for your team
- Domination: Capture, hold, and defend objectives to earn score for your team.
- Search and Destroy: Teams alternate between detonating and defusing a bomb. No respawns.
- Kill Confirmed: Recover dog tags to score for your team and deny enemy scores.
- Free-For-All: Eliminate enemies to earn score. The first to reach the score limit will achieve victory.
- Hardpoint: Capture and hold the Hardpoint zone to earn score for your team.
- Gunfight: Eliminate all enemy players using pre-determined classes to win the round. No respawns.
- Kill Order: Eliminate the enemy HVT while keeping your HVT alive. HVT kills earn bonus score for your team.
- Control: Take turns attacking and defending zones with a limited number of lives for each round.
