In the Modern Warfare 4 Campaign, you play as Private Park, a young South Korean soldier facing live combat for the first time. What begins as a routine mission quickly turns into chaos when North Korea launches a full-scale invasion, forcing Park and his squad to fight through collapsing cities and desperate counteroffensives.

Meanwhile, Captain Price is operating outside the system he once served. Driven by revenge, he hunts for a weapon powerful enough to shift the balance of power, drawing him into a much larger conflict. Forced to rely on uneasy alliances and covert operations, Price finds himself facing consequences he can no longer escape.

The campaign drops players into different locations around the globe, such as Korea, New York, Paris, and Mumbai. 

The story features iconic Modern Warfare 4 Operator characters, including Captain Price and Ghost, while also introducing new figures such as Private Park.

How to play the Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Early Access

Modern Warfare 4 will offer early access to its Campaign. Instead of waiting for the official release on October 23, 2026, players who digitally pre-order or pre-purchase the game can start playing the Campaign on Friday, October 16.

Early Access is available to players who pre-order or pre-purchase the Standard Digital Edition or Vault Edition on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Battle.net, Steam, and Switch 2.

Is the COD Modern Warfare 4 Campaign Co-Op?

No, the Modern Warfare 4 campaign returns to single-player only. There will be no co-op campaign this time.
