It seems incredible that the first mission in Hitman 3 taking place inside the tallest building in the world, The Burj Khalifa-inspired skyscraper, can be completed in under 10 seconds. Yet, this has been done by the speedrunners in less than a week after the official release of the game.

Speedrun.com provides information on the players' performance levels and provides a ranking list according to how quickly they manage to complete levels in the game.

A player going by the name Goron is currently at the top of the rankings, having managed to complete the opening level in Hitman 3 in just 8 seconds! Check it out:

The mission takes agent 47 to various floors of the lavish Scepter skyscraper and with an aim to assassinate two targets, Carl Ingram and Marcus Stuyvesant. These two are relatively close to each other on the level's map and Goron makes sure to take advantage of the situation by eliminating both of them from a vantage point in a space of 2 seconds! The first one is located on the upper floor of the main staircase and the second one is facing it right upfront. Agent 47 draws out its silenced pistol, runs over to the staircase, and takes a free shot into the wall attracting the attention of both targets, then promptly proceeds to take them both down with the next two shots. The exit is right behind him too. Totally the way a Roman emperor put it - Veni,vidi,vici.

Unbelievable right?

We don't think this record has any way of being beaten in any reasonable space of time, as it seems to be so perfectly timed and with no possible improvements to the method in sight. Do you think there may even be another or a more efficient way to clear the first Hitman 3 stage and that this astonishing 8-second record is eventually going to slip down the rankings? Let us know what you think on our Twitter page!
