How Reflux Works in Borderlands 3
Reflux is a Hyperion Shotgun. It is very similar to the other weapon called Brainstormer. It is also a Hyperion shotgun, but Reflux is considerably stronger. Brainstormer is locked to the shock element and does okay damage, but reflux is locked to the corrosive element and deals a lot more damage.

How to Get Reflux in Borderlands 3
In order to get the weapon, you must play on Mayhem Level 6 or above. You want to finish the main mission from the base game: "The Family Jewel".
After completing the mission and defeating GenIVIV, you will be able to return to this map and farm the enemy for the Reflux Shotgun. It is a boss that has mostly armor and shields. You will need to use shock or radiation elements effectively to get rid of the shields, and corrosive or cryo to get through armor and defeat the boss. After doing so, there is an 11.4% chance of getting the Reflux Hyperion Shotgun.
It is a dedicated drop that has a pretty low drop chance, especially if you are looking for a specific anointment. However, on April 8th, in the new patch to Borderlands 3, you will be able to reroll anointments on weapons for the right price [eridium].
