The DR12 Quasar is a Revolver weapon featured in Cyberpunk 2077. It is a Tech Weapon.

How To Get the DR12 Quasar - Weapon Location:

You can purchase the DR12 Quasar from the various Weapon Shops / Vendors in Night City. Alternatively, you can obtain weapons without spending Eurodollars by defeating and looting your enemies.

DR12 Quasar Stats:

Weapon stats change based on their rarity (from Common to Legendary) and on your character's level. The more you advance in the game, the more you will find better weapon variants.

I found an epic Quasar that people can get once the Heist is over, or if you find a way outside of watson early. It's in north oak where the reported crime takes place. It requires you to be at least level sixteen to use it, but it can have the two rounds at once attribute so it's definitely a good weapon early in the game. Also for those who found ways outside of watson it's the highest tier version of the gun that you can get before doing the heist mission.

Personally the legendary version that you can make once your technical skill's leveled up is better simply because it's legendary, but if you get the two rounds at once attribute they're comparable to one another. However the area has several turrets that can easily kill those at lower levels so try for it at your own risk.

There are actually several different places you can find this weapon in chests, but the one that I used to get the Quasar in was the gig No Fixers where you had to go and rescue this woman and her van. The pistol is in the shed where you find her in at the very back of the place.

Unlike the Nekomata and the Achilles (outside of doing the Disasterpiece mission) you can just save before getting it and go through reloading hell to get this weapon. As for my recommendation (and because you can find several others in other missions) I would get one with the fires 2 shots at once but significantly lowers the rate of fire attribute. This makes this gun fire three bullets at once, and it really works well with the crunch mod. Fully modded and enhanced the gun will have a DPS of 1,722 (1,984 with all of the handgun perks). It's charging ability is....well it's good if you can use it effectively, but it's hard to use unless you put a
countermass on it. Though if you're good enough to charge and release only one shot you can easily pick people off like flies....
