The Sims 5 Beta will happen at a very early stage of the game version. Pre-alpha stages already started two weeks ago on the 25th of October.

What Are Beta Tests?

The beta test is an opportunity for people outside of the game developing environment to play the game before release and discover any issues or bugs that need to be repaired. Beta tests can either be open or closed.

Open beta tests that everyone who wants to participate needs to download the game that is in the state before official release. Closed beta tests require invitations from developers to participate. In closed beta tests usually, participation is limited to current clients, early adopters, or paid beta testers.

What Are The Sims 5 Beta Tests For?

The Sims 5 Beta test will be focused mainly on the workshop which is a tool for the interior of the houses such as windows furniture etc. In The Sims 5 known as Project Rene, you will have an opportunity to share your furniture that you can customize with other people.

People invited to participate in beta tests will be allowed to invite another three of their friends. The beta test date is still unknown. All of this information is from Tom Henderson who is one of the most informed guys in the gaming society. Remember that only a handful of people will participate in testing the new Sims game so don't be disappointed if you are not chosen to be one of them.
