Throughout the story of NieR Replicant, we will have access to a total of 33 weapons before ending E. Some of these are purchased, some are automatically earned, some must be found, and some side quest rewards. Here, as usual, we will tell you all there are, how to get them and how to improve them.

One-Handed Weapons (Swords)

One-handed swords are, in essence, what their name indicates. These are weapons for close combat close to the enemy. They are possibly the most versatile weapons because they allow us to hit very quickly and retreat if necessary, dodging enemy attacks or putting land in between.

There are 15 one-handed swords in NieR Replicant:

  • Fool's Embrace: Complete the arenas of Nier's home journal (NG + onwards only).
  • Moonrise: Awarded by helping the guard near Coastal City defeat the Shadows.
  • Beastbain - Purchased from the village blacksmith for 16,800 gold.
  • Nirvana Dagger: you have to break the box that is when climbing the wooden staircase of the Lost Sanctuary.
  • Phoenix Dagger: It is purchased in Coastal City for 31,200 gold coins (second half).
  • Lily Leaf Sword - Purchase from the village blacksmith for 2,400 gold.
  • Faith: Awarded by freeing all the inhabitants of the Forest of Legends (first half) or by purchasing it from the Eagle's Nest while it is accessible, for 18,500 gold coins (second half).
  • Earth Wyrm's Claw - Purchase from Façade for 8,400 gold.
  • Blade of treachery: Obtained from Emil's Mansion, just before the final boss (first half, can be returned for later).
  • Nameless Blade - Automatically earned as part of the story.
  • Rebirth - Automatically achieved as part of the story.
  • Ancient Overlord - Automatically achieved as part of the story.
  • Labyrinth's Whisper: You must complete the secondary mission "A bridge in danger".
  • Iron Pipe: This can be obtained during the side quest "The Magic Stone". It is also achieved automatically after watching Ending B.

Two-Handed Weapons

In this category, we have greatswords but also axes. I mean, we have two-handed weapons. These are rather slow weapons that do a lot of damage and have a medium range. They can easily stop the advance of enemies that are not too big thanks to their weight.

There are 9 two-handed weapons in NieR Replicant:

  • Labyrinth's Song: You must complete the side quest "Disturbing the rest of the kings."
  • Fang of the twins: it is obtained in the first basement of the House of Emil (second half).
  • Pheonix ​​Sword: It is obtained in the castle of the Lord of the Shadows (second half).
  • Axe of Beheading- Buy from the village for 19,200 coins (second half).
  • Vile Ax - Purchased from the Coastal City for 21,600 coins (second half).
  • Kusanagi - Achieved by advancing through the story.
  • Fool's Lament: Complete the arenas of Nier's Home Journal (NG + onwards only).
  • Beastlord: Achieved by breaking a box on the roof of the Lost Sanctuary (second half).
  • Iron Will - Achieved by advancing through the story.

Lances

In this category, we have polearms, or in other words, spears. These are weapons with a medium-range, which allow us to attack without hitting the enemy. Although they don't have much-stopping power, they can easily take out small enemies before they become a problem.

There are 10 lances in NieR Replicant:

  • Sunrise: purchased from the village blacksmith or the Eagle's Nest for 21,600 gold coins (second half).
  • Transcience: it is achieved by advancing in the story.
  • Labyrinth's Cry: You must complete the secondary mission "The ruined map".
  • Spear of the Usurper - Purchase from the village blacksmith for 21,600 gold (second half).
  • Draconic Spear: it is obtained in the castle of the Lord of the Shadows, breaking a box that is before the spiral staircase (second half).
  • Phoenix Spear: purchased from Facade for 32,400 gold coins (second half).
  • Captain's Holy Spear - Buy from Facade for 32,400 gold (second half).
  • Beastcurse: you have to break a box in the Junkyard dungeon. The box is just before the combat zone with P-33 (second half).
  • Fool's Pact: Complete the arenas of Nier's home journal (NG + onwards only).
  • The Devil Queen: you have to break a box next to the second ladder at the back of the Lost Sanctuary (second half).
