How To Fix Gotham Knights
Aside from areas within gameplay and frustrations that many players share with its momentum, Gotham Knights' biggest issue is its performance. Both on consoles and PC, the title struggles to maintain a consistent frame rate with constant dips, and the inability to even stay at 30 frames per second.
Regardless of how powerful players' PCs perform, it has resulted in many being reluctant to play through the game. The confusion also lies within what may actually be the cause of the poor performance, given the weaker graphical fidelity compared to Batman: Arkham Knight which is seven years older.

If WB Games Montreal wishes to improve Gotham Knights' player count and allow the game to transition in favor of critics, this should be their utmost focus and point of interest. This will encourage those who may have written the entry off, to give it another chance.
What Other Improvements Are Needed?
Whilst the issues regarding the game's functionality is prominent, there are also gameplay changes many players would love to see. During early showcases and previews, many were quick to draw comparisons between Gotham Knights' combat and that of the successful Arkham series.
The fast free-flowing combat featured in all three of those games was one of the biggest factors in the series' level of success. Despite Gotham Knights not having the same development studio and the game being completely unrelated to the trilogy, fans were unhappy to see this game take a different path in its gameplay.
It may be impossible to completely revamp and change the gameplay and combat here, but it would be highly beneficial to players and may be the one way on how to fix Gotham Knights.
