If you have obtained Albedo from the current banner or would like to build Itto or Gorou from the upcoming banner, Slumbering Court is the domain to grind. This article will introduce the characters to bring to the domain and will outline the uses of the various artifact sets you can obtain from this domain. I would recommend only completing Level IV of this domain at AR45 and above to ensure that you can get more 5 star artifacts.
Ridge Watch is located on Seirai Island and can be unlocked by going to the teleport waypoint I indicated on the map above. From there, you can drop underground (near the puzzle mechanism) and find the new domain.
Recommendations
For all levels of the domain, I would strongly recommend bringing an Electro character (Raiden, Fischl, Sara etc.) that can deal continuous Electro DMG. All levels of this domain increase Electro DMG by 40% and triggering Electro-Charged unleashes a shockwave that deals True DMG to opponents.
For Levels I-II, bringing Pyro and Cryo characters is integral as there are Hydro slimes.
It is especially important to bring an Electro, Hydro character and healer for Level IV of this domain since the Rifthounds cause bleeding that continuously drain your character's HP even when they are off-field. You can complete the domain quickly with more True DMG shockwaves from Electro-charged. Ideally, bringing a strong healer for Level IV of this domain will make it much easier for you to complete it!
Fortunately, the Ley Line Disorder of this domain does not have any drawbacks for bringing any elements, so as long as you can have healers, the domain should not be too challenging.
Artifact Sets
Defender's Will is also a great set for Albedo, Gorou and Itto if you are just starting to play Genshin Impact - I often call it the budget Husk of Opulent Dreams set. The 2-set of Defender's Will gives an increase of 30% of DEF. For each different element present in your party, the wearer's Elemental RES to that corresponding element is increased by 30%, making it a good choice for beginner's Sub-DPS characters. The Brave Heart set is a budget Gladiator's set with a 2-set that gives increased ATK by 18%. However, the 4-set is a little too specific with an increased DMG of 30% against opponents with more than 50% HP. These sets can be used on your Main DPS characters, but do switch to Gladiator's later in the game for better ATK percentages.
The Husk of Opulent Dreams increases DEF by 30% in a 2-set. The 4-set will grant stacks when on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s. When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. It can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a stack, 1 stack is lost. The Geo and DEF benefits show that this set would be ideal on Albedo, Arataki Itto and Gorou.
The 2-set increases the Healing bonus by 15%. For the 4-set, when the character healing heals a character in the party, HP recovered from healing and overflowed HP will accumulate for 3 seconds. Thereafter, DMG will be dealt to opponents based on 90% of the heals. This can only occur once every 3.5s and a maximum of 30,000 HP can be accumulated, including overflowed healing. This effect can be triggered when the healer character is off-field. This set is ideal for characters like Kokomi who tend to over-heal characters and cannot be built to be a sub-DPS character such as Jean. I would recommend using it on Kokomi, Barbara and Qiqi but not Jean, Diona, Noelle, Sayu and Bennett.
