On March 12^th, 2021 we got a piece of new information about the upcoming Dying Light game. Developers shared on Twitter information about Dying Light 2 Update from the development. We also got new information about the upcoming event hosted by Square Enix where we will know more about the upcoming games as well as some information about New Life Is Strange Game.

Dying Light 2 Update Information

The information from the official Twitter account about the state of the next Dying Light game told us when to expect more news regarding the project. There will be a Dying Light 2 Update on March 17^th, 2021 when we will get more information about the game itself. We might expect a new release date, maybe some sort of apologies for the delay, some new gameplay, or at least screenshots.

Techland [developers behind Dying Light Franchise mentioned that they will be sharing more information via their Discord.

New Life Is Strange Game in Development

One day earlier on March 11^th, we got an announcement of the event hosted by Square Enix called simply “Square Enix Presents”. We will get information about a brand new Life Is Strange game as well as updates on various other projects like:

Outriders,
Marvel’s Avengers,
Tomb Raider 25^th anniversary,
Brand New Square Enix Montreal Game,
Just Cause Mobile,
Balan Wonderworld.

The most newsworthy information must be the New Life Is Strange Game. From the leaks from the past weeks, we got some information that is yet to be confirmed. The rumored protagonist is going to be an Asian-American woman named Alex. The subtitle of the game is supposed to be Life Is Strange: True Colors. She is set to have a special ability [similarly to Max from the original Life Is Strange] that will enable her to recognize the color of the aura of other people.

This new Life Is Strange game is rumored to be developed by Deck Nine. The studio behind Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. The original Life Is Strange was created by DONTNOD Entertainment.

We might get a trailer, screenshots or even a release date for the new Life Is Strange game very soon. The event will take place on March 18^th, 10 am PDT or 5 pm GMT.

I can not wait for more information about the new Life Is Strange game. I was a fan of the original as well as the sequel and spin-off Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. I felt this void of 3D. Point and Click, story-driven adventures for a while now. The last Life Is Strange game was released almost 3 years ago and with the situation regarding Telltale Games there have not been many titles of this particular genre.
