The Outer Worlds DLC 2 Preview
Today out of nowhere we got a brand new trailer for the upcoming The Outer Worlds DLC 2 for a great game from 2019 The Outer Worlds.
We will look at the name and release date of this expansion.
The Outer Worlds was a pretty big game developed by Obsidian Entertainment. It was more condensed than your typical RPG with the world divided into planets.
The single map was smaller, but overall, the game used space ship travel between a couple of maps [planets] with different flora and fauna.
The Release Date of this DLC was scheduled for early 2021 and now we know more details about it, including the Name of DLC 2.
A great pick-up for everyone who wants to play some Role-Playing Games but not necessarily have too much time.
The whole game can be completed in about 20 hours of playtime, including some side quests. It is also a very atmospheric game set in the future, but not in a typical fashion. It is some vision of the future that would be made in the 20th century.
The game offers a lot of variety of ways to play, from melee builds, to stealth approach, as well as classic shooting. It offers a very good companion system. You can choose up to two companions at once. My personal favorite is Parvati voiced by brilliant Ashly Burch.
The first DLC called “Peril on Gorgon” was released on September 9th, 2020. It added some hours to the game, a new planet, and some interesting characters. I am bringing that up because it shows us what we can expect from the upcoming DLC 2.
We just learned the name of the DLC, the release date and got an announcement trailer.

The Outer Worlds DLC 2 Name And Release Date
The Name of the new The Outer Worlds DLC 2 is “Murder on Eridanos”. Its scheduled Release Date is March 17th, 2021. Everyone who bought the Expansion Pass will get access to this DLC. It will probably be priced the same as the first DLC “Peril on Gorgon” at around $14.99.
A famous character from The Outer Worlds universe named Halcyon Helen has been murdered [probably on the planet of Eridanos]. It will definitely be an interesting adventure, focused on solving the puzzle, meeting new characters, and visiting a brand new planet.
For today, it is the second and last expansion to The Outer Worlds. We will see what the future brings.

The Outer Worlds is a very good game, and the first DLC delivered a couple more hours of fun into the world. Hopefully “Murder on Eridanos” can be even better when it releases on March 17th, 2021.
