For Android users, you should make sure that your device meets the system requirements.

COD: Mobile requires at least 2GB of RAM to run optimally. Your device should also be running on Android OS 5.1 or later. For the best experience, you should have at least 3GB of RAM. A dual-core 1.2GHz CPU is also recommended, along with at least 3.5GB of storage.

If your device meets the requirements, you can simply search for “Call Of Duty: Mobile” on the Google Play Store. Then, just hit the install button and wait for the game to be installed.

Call Of Duty: Mobile Release

Call Of Duty: Mobile went through a few different stages before it was finally released.

  • Elite Squad

It all began back in October 2018. A trailer for an upcoming mobile game named “Elite Squad” was leaked. Back then, TiMi Studios, the developers of Call Of Duty: Mobile, didn’t have the rights to the Call Of Duty name.

To this day, many of the files from Elite Squad can be found in Call Of Duty: Mobile. These range from weapon UI icons, to text files and loading screens.

  • Official Announcement Trailer

A few months later, on March 18th, 2019, an official trailer was published. Call Of Duty: Mobile was real, and it was set to launch later that year.

One week before the release of Call Of Duty: Mobile, the developers published a cinematic trailer

  • Beta Releases

Two months after the official trailer, beta releases started rolling out all over the world. India would be the first to get access to the beta in May until early June.

Four days after the beta ended in India, a new one was launched. This one was geo-locked, being only available to Australian gamers. This beta period would end a month later.

The last closed beta phase started two weeks before the game was launched. This time, it was only available to gamers in Southeast Asia. This phase would end on September 26th, 2019.

  • Soft Launch

Before the official launch, Call Of Duty: Mobile was released on July 18th, 2019 in Canada and Australia. Peru would be added a month later.

  • Official Launch

Call Of Duty: Mobile launched worldwide on October 1st, 2019

Although Vietnam would have to wait until April 20, 2020, to get official access to the game.

Chinese gamers were unlucky, as they had to wait until December 25, 2020, to gain access to Call Of Duty: Mobile.

The game has now amassed more than 300 million downloads and over $1.9 billion in revenue. A report came out last November, stating that there are over 110 million monthly players on Call Of Duty: Mobile.

Before the game launched in China, there were 46 million mobile gamers who had pre-registered for the game.

Call Of Duty: Mobile Story

Many veteran Call Of Duty players were excited when they heard that getting its own story. While Call Of Duty: Mobile’s story isn’t canon, it mixes different universes of the games.

The story is played out in the form of comics. It all started on Season 6: Once Upon A Time In Rust.

The story here follows the beloved Ghost, who is still alive in this universe. He interacts with many of the villains from former Call Of Duty games, like Makarov, as well as captain Viktor Reznov.
