The Ashura is a Sniper Rifle featured in Cyberpunk 2077. It is a Smart Weapon.

How To Get the Ashura - Weapon Location:

You can purchase the Ashura from the various Weapon Shops / Vendors in Night City. Alternatively, you can obtain weapons without spending Eurodollars by defeating and looting your enemies.

Ashura Stats:

Weapon stats change based on their rarity (from Common to Legendary) and on your character's level. The more you advance in the game, the more you will find better weapon variants.

I have recently found a place where you can get an Epic one (for those who're in the earliest parts of the game, or those who can get pout of Watson early). There are actually two that you can get, but I can't remember the location of the other one right now. Anyway it's in the Eastern Badlands in the Wraith Camp area which will be crawling with enemies that you won't want to see you if you're not high leveled.

If you come into the area from the side (where the hole in the wall is) you can see the building that you would ordinarily be saving Saul from if you were in the Riders of the Storm story mission. You'll see after subduing or hiding from the enemies a set of stairs on the side of the building leading up to a catwalk that goes across the front of the building. The gun is laying on the furthest part of the catwalk close to where the boxes and things are stacked up.

I think that you'll have to level up to thirty before you can use it, but it might be fifteen I can't remember to be honest. But like other attributed weapons you can go to it again and again or use reloading hell to get whatever attribute you want on it, but it can't ever become legendary.

Also while not related to the gun in any way you can go into the building by jumping onto the roof and going through the holes in the roof to get most if not all of the various gun and clothing mods (Crunch, Pacifier, Armadillo, ect). There are also two different chests in here with DR12 Nova's in them if anyone wants them. Also you can technically get the legendary SOR-22 crafting spec from in here, but I'm unsure of how it'll affect the Rider's of the Storm mission if you get it early.

While the Nekomata is my favorite sniper rifle especially if it has the fires 2 shot attribute on it the Asura is by far the more deadly one. Granted they're both able to one hit kill practically anyone and everyone, but the Asura only deals headshots. And if you can get one that has the increases projectile velocity by 50% the bullet no longer lags like they usually do when you fire a smart weapon.

As for where to get this weapon the earliest point that you can get the crafting spec for this is when you go to do the Small Man, Big Evil gig (it's the one where you have to kill/capture Jae Hyun who can also drop a legendary clothing item if you're high enough leveled for him to).

Granted as long as you can find the place on your map you can get the thing as soon as you get through the first few scenes (so long as you can move around Watson).

Another place you can get it is in one of the Organized Crime activities in Rancho Coronado, it's a loot item you get from the leader up in the upper level of the....building....Rig thing. It's the tall thing just south and east of the building the Cuckoo's Nest gig is in.

The next few places that you can get the crafting spec for it is in the weapon shops in City Center and The Glen. I think you can also get it in the weapon shop in Wellsprings, but I'm not really sure about it.

However if you want an Asura with an attribute then you're going to have to employ the buying/selling method shown in the Achilles and Omaha pages. There is one that can become legendary in a chest in the Inconvenient Killer gig, but it's DPS is abyssmal so it's not recommended to go for it.
