Field Upgrades make their return on COD Black Ops Cold War as an option in the Loadout system. Pick one of the four field upgrades, and once you're on the battlefield, you can activate them by pressing L1+R1 on PS4 or LB+RB on Xbox.

Deploys a recording device that highlights enmity sounds on your minimap.
Proximity activated trap that expels a large cloud of harmful gas. Enemies inside are damaged and disoriented.
Destroys thrown enemy equipment and launcher missiles within 10 meters.
Supply cache containing ammo that gives bonus score for taking down enemies.
