NieR Replicant tells the story of a hero who must save a girl from Black Scrawl. Although throughout the game we will explore many areas, the game, like everything, has not one ending, but 5 different endings. In this guide, we will tell you, without any spoiler, the requirements of each ending, including the new secret ending.
Ending A
Seeing this ending has no special requirements:
This is the standard ending.
It doesn't have any requirements, you just have to get to the end of the story.
When finished, you can create a save file to continue playing from the beginning of the second half of the game.
Ending B
To see Ending B, you only have to meet one requirement:
- This is the standard ending after you've completed the game for the first time.
- When you watch Ending A, create a completed game file, and replay the second half, you will see new and modified sequences.
- When you finally get to the end, you will automatically see this second ending.
Ending C
Ending C has two special requirements:
- In order to see this ending, you must first have seen Ending B.
- When you load the completed game file, you must collect all weapons that are available.
- Once you have them, advance to the end of the game naturally.
- It is advisable to do a manual save before the fight with the final boss, to save some time.
- When you have defeated the final boss, you will have to face a new enemy.
- Once you have eliminated the new enemy, you must choose to kill him to see Ending C.
Ending D
Ending D also has two special requirements:
- First of all, seeing this ending supposes a permanent deletion of your save file unless you have made a backup of your game.
- In order to see this ending, you must first have seen Ending B.
- When you load the completed game file, you must collect all 33 weapons that are available.
- Once you have them, advance to the end of the game naturally.
- If you have listened to us, you will have a saved game just before watching Final C, so it will be enough to load to go directly to Ending D.
- When you have defeated the final boss, you will have to face a new enemy.
- Once you have eliminated the new enemy, you must choose not to kill him.
- At this point, the end involves the complete deletion of your game, and you will never be able to use the name chosen for the save file again.
Ending E
NieR Replicant brings us the final four of the original game. However, since we now know that the world of NieR is huge, in this remaster it has been decided to add a completely new ending. Seeing it has a series of very specific requirements and it is almost impossible for you to come across it by chance. Here we will tell you how to see the Secret Ending E.
How to watch NieR Replicant's Secret Ending E
In order to see Secret Ending E, the first requirement is to make the game delete your game. In order to do this, you must:
- See Ending A.
- See Ending B.
- Collect all the Weapons to be able to see Ending C and Ending D.
- Remember that Final D ends with the complete deletion of your game, make a backup if you don't want to lose everything.
- After the game deletes your game with Final D, you have to start a new game, with a different name than the deleted game. Remember, new game, it is not worth rescuing the backup, the game will know.
- Now you have to advance naturally, until the second fight against the giant Shadow in the Eagle's Nest, the boss that you face with Kainé.
- After this combat, the story will change and you will enter the Final E route.
- Once inside the route, you only have to advance until you reach the end of the story, which will be a couple of hours of play from the point where you are.
The story is different once you enter the Ending E route, and we do not want to give you any details about what will happen during these hours. Just enjoy it and remember, try not to say anything to anyone so that everything remains a real surprise. And if you’re wondering how to get all the weapons, we’ll have a guide up at GamesAtlas as soon as possible.
